Using the hundreds of Plains Indian material culture items he has made and combining that with his riding and stunt abilities has led Michael to a natural career beginning in 1974 as a Native American model.

Through the years he has modeled regularly for all of the great names in western art such as James Bama, Frank McCarthy and Howard Terpning. Michael has helped these and hundreds of other artists make their paintings and sculptures more realistic and authentic.
